Woodcock Johnson IV, Test of Academic Achievement Training

This interactive workshop covers the unique advantages of the latest version of Woodcock Johnson’s Achievement and Oral Language test. Individuals must have prior knowledge and experience administering standardized norm-referenced assessments, or knowledge of assessments. Participants should bring their school test, or trainer will provide test materials.

All participants will have access to a Woodcock Johnson Academic easel to learn the new features, including:

• WJ-IV Academic Achievement: Several new reading clusters increase the diagnostic sophistication of the WJ-IV-ACH. These include Broad Reading Fluency & Reading Comprehension Extended.
• WJ-IV Oral Language: A dedicated test easel contains a set of oral language and language-related measures that comprise an important diagnostic supplement to the WJ-COG and WJ-IV-ACH.
• Hands on experience with the actual test.  Intermittent scoring activities amongst Subtests and practice administering in small groups.
• Case studies discussed throughout.
