As a non-profit organization, LDA focuses on the needs of those we serve. Our sole purpose in offering special education licensure programs is to further our mission of equitably supporting and empowering people impacted by specific learning disabilities, attention deficits, and/or learning differences.

 

Program Costs

Teacher candidates in the licensure program are charged tuition rates, which are set each July for the following academic year (Fall, Spring, and Summer).

Tuition for September 2018 through May 2021 (21 month program):  $16,000

This tuition fee includes courses and textbooks.  Tuition fees are based on $350 per unit (i.e. credit) A full breakdown of tuition by semester is:

Academic Year 1: $7,350

Summer: $4,200

Academic Year 2: $4,200

Additional Fees

Program fees (such as for the use of assessment protocols, testing, edTPA, etc.) will range from $50 to $300 per semester, depending on the coursework. You will be notified in advance of the semester the expected additional fees required.
