LDA Minnesota is seeking an administrative specialist position that will focus on financial recordkeeping, human resource support, and program & administrative support.

Job Duties:
This position includes a variety of functions supporting LDA’s programs and operations. The role involves comprehensive financial record keeping, including processing accounts payable and receivable—such as grants, contract payments, and service fees—in an accurate and timely manner. The position supports the Accountant in ensuring accurate and timely entries, sends tuition and contract invoices, and follows up on outstanding payables. In addition, the position manages various aspects of human resources and personnel administration, including administering policies, employee benefits, bi-weekly payroll, and support for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews. Within client services, the role ensures high-quality customer service, manages reception duties, provides tutoring service information, coordinates scheduling, maintains client files, and collects payments. It also handles documentation requests from third-party payers and assists with event registration and financial confirmations. Office and program support duties include assisting the Leadership Team, managing office supplies and facilities, coordinating with contractors and IT support, and maintaining printer operations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Experience Desired:
Experience
bookkeeping and knowledge of fund accounting required. Work experience in Human Resources helpful.
A minimum of three years experience supporting the work of an executive team required. Work experience in nonprofit agency preferred.
Competence in working with Google Workspace, Sage, and BambooHR software.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills - able to handle multiple tasks at once.
