LDA Minnesota is recruiting experienced special education teachers to serve as mentors in our two-year Academic & Behavioral Strategist (ABS) licensure program. As a mentor, you’ll build meaningful, ongoing relationships with new teachers as they develop their craft and earn their credentials.
You’re a great fit if you are:
- An experienced, Tier 3 or higher, special education teacher
- Committed to culturally responsive, equity-centered teaching
- Grounded in pragmatic, evidence-based instructional practices
- Eager to grow your own skills as a mentor and leader
- Ready to invest in the future of special education in Minnesota
Mentors are paid $1,200 per semester, per teacher candidate.
