LDA of Minnesota is seeking a Psychologist to join our Assessment Team. This important position works closely with a group of professionals to evaluate children, youth and adults who are seeking a learning disability and/or ADHD diagnosis.  

This position is part-time and can be scheduled around other part- or full-time work.  Testing sessions may occur after school hours, evenings or weekends during academic year.  Pay is competitive and based on work performed.  To apply, please send resume and cover letter to hr@ldaminnesota.org

Job Duties:
  • Administer the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV)  or the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WICS-V) assessments which include:
    • Analysis of results and conclusions
    • Composition of the IQ section on the Psychoeducational Evaluation Report
    • Diagnosis (LD and/or ADHD)
    • Contribute to the recommendation’s section of the report
  • Ability to administer, analyze, and report on the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF) 
  • ADHD Assessments which include:
    • Administration and scoring of the ADHD assessment(s) (Conners’ Rating Scale, Vanderbilt Assessment Scale)
    • Conners’ Continuous Performance Test (CPT-3)
    • Analysis of results/conclusions
    • Contribute to the recommendation’s section of the report
    • ADHD Diagnosis
  • Collaborate with other staff on the compilation of the Psychoeducational Evaluation Report
  • Ability to lead the client feedback session
    • Create a visual normal curve to share at the session
    • Review draft report and prepare ahead of each scheduled feedback session
  • Assist LDA Assessment Team with requests from potential or former clients
  • Attend Monthly Assessment Team meetings
Experience Desired:
  • Valid Minnesota Department of Education License in School Psychology and/or licensed psychologist in with the Minnesota Board of Psychology
  • Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with students, adults and family members who are culturally, racially, and linguistically diverse
  • Exceptional communication skills; verbally, non-verbally, and in writing
  • Team player and positive professional demeanor track record
