Workshops
Workshops are scheduled
year-round for parents, adults, and teens with ADHD.
All workshops are also open to and useful for professionals
who serve persons with ADHD, including teachers. Click

ADHD
Support Groups
At monthly Support Groups, a new topic opens discussion,
followed by group sharing and support to learn strategies,
gain new outlooks, ask questions, and deepen understanding
of ADHD concerns. Support Groups are facilitated by
a professional with experience in ADHD issues.

ADHD
Phone Information Line
Have questions about ADHD? Need a referral to a counselor,
doctor or organization for specific questions? Unsure
what to do? Call the ADHD Phone Information Line
at 952-922-8374. ADHD Specialists will answer your
questions, help you choose the next step or provide
referrals to professionals in the greater Twin Cities
area who work with or specialize in attention deficits.
There is no fee to speak with an ADHD specialist.
Transition
Coaching for Young Adults with ADHD
Success after high school begins with a plan!
LDA now offers transition coaching for young adults
ages 14-21 with ADHD and/or learning disabilities as
they move to work or post-secondary education. A transition
specialist will guide and assist students in identifying
their specific needs and developing goals in areas such
as career planning, job search and retention, post-secondary
academic success, independent living, and self-advocacy.

Services include personal one-on-one coaching, group
sessions, and workshops. Click

Tutoring
LDA offers individualized tutoring that is highly structured
and sequential, and utilizes multi-sensory techniques
to reinforce learning. Together with the student, LDA
teachers develop a personalized education plan and goals.

Consultations
and Presentations about ADHD Issues
LDA has developed customized workshops to meet the needs
of teaching professionals, supervisors, parents, employers,
and volunteers in schools, businesses, and neighborhood
and community agencies.
All of LDA's educational workshops are presented by
talented professionals in the fields of ADHD and learning
disabilities. Workshops are interactive, engaging, and
participatory. As specialists in learning, LDA experts
realize that participants learn best when they are engaged
through a variety of activities.
LDA's interactive workshops include small group discussions,
debates, use of visual learning tools, cooperative groups,
role-playing, learning-based activities, and large group
